Hi, I’m Dickon…
I’ve worked as a digital marketing and communications professional for over a decade. Sometime back in the mid-2010s I had a meltdown about not contributing enough to solving the interconnected crises impacting our world, and committed myself to retraining in order to do so.
I hold an MSc in Interdisciplinary Studies in Social, Economic, and Environmental Sustainability from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona, and an MPhil in Development, Environment, and Cultural Change from the University of Oslo’s Centre for Development and the Environment.
Combining learnings from these studies with my operational and strategic marketing and communications experience, my work focuses on telling meaningful stories about climate change and its associated challenges to motivate action on climate-related issues.
I’m hoping that this podcast can set a fire in others. That it can inspire those who are already on their way, and provide clear guidance for anyone looking to be more effective in how they communicate climate change.
